All rates are in US$ and are inclusive of 19% tax

The registration fee includes:
- Membership of IFPA
- Access to conference sessions and poster areas
- Breakfasts for delegates staying at the conference hotel
- Welcome drinks reception (at which food will be served)
- Mid session refreshments as detailed in the conference programme
- Conference dinner
- Poster session refreshments
- Online subscription to Placenta in 2011
- A delegate bag including a copy of Placenta, programme booklet and CD Rom of abstracts
*A new investigator is defined as a PhD graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, or new investigator within 3 years of receiving their doctoral or senior degree. Please provide a supporting email or letter from your Head of Department that you are 1) a fellow is within 3 years of receiving their doctoral or senior degree (or equivalent) or 2) a student who is registered in a graduate research degree programme.

Awards
Students & trainees: Please apply for the YW (Charlie) Loke New Investigator Travel awards ($500 each) and the NIH New Investigator Travel Awards ($500 or more depending on number awarded). To apply for one of these awards the student/trainee must check the box on the abstract form indicating they are a new investigator and check the box for the YW (Charlie) Loke Award. US-based trainees should check both the YW (Charlie) Loke Award box and the NIH award box. A letter from the Department Chair or mentor is required, confirming that the applicant is a student or trainee.
Payment
Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the online registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat.
Cancellation
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the conference secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 6 September 2010, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 20 September 2010, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 20 September 2010, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.
In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
