IFPA – the International Federation of Placenta Associations is devoted to promoting excellence in the field of placental research internationally by facilitating multidisciplinary study and discussion of all aspects of placenta structure and function, relations between placenta, mother, and fetus and conditions of reproductive organs.
By supporting the development of the regional organizations – Australian & New Zealand Placental Research Association, European Placenta Group, Japanese Placenta Association, and Placenta Association of the Americas – we encourage communication among these organizations and researchers in the field as well as the creation of new groups in other parts of the world.
We coordinate the dates, locations, and themes of the annual IFPA Conferences that are organized and hosted by the regional placenta associations. If you are a scientist with an interest in placenta and trophoblast research, we invite you to join us.
