INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF PLACENTA ASSOCIATIONS

It is increasingly clear that the placenta is pivotal to pregnancy success in women, agricultural species and all other viviparous species. Poor placental trophoblast invasion and impaired placental function are implicated in a continuum of human pregnancy complications.
