Registration Information
Conference Registration Fees
All fees are in euros and subject to VAT at 20%. Delegates should book by 10 July 2008 to avoid the late booking surcharge.
Standard delegates (with print and online access to Placenta):
€530 + VAT @ 20% = €636.00
Standard delegates (within online access to Placenta only):
€510 + VAT @ 20% = €612.00
New Investigators (within online access to Placenta only)*:
€200 + VAT @ 20% = €240.00
New Investigators (without subscription)*
€180 + VAT @ 20% = €216.00
A late booking surcharge of €75 + VAT @ 20% = €90.00 will be added to all registrations received after 10 July 2008
The delegate registration fee includes:
- Access to conference sessions
- Conference delegate pack (including conference issue of Placenta)
- Welcome drinks reception
- Mid session refreshments
- Lunches on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Dinner on Thursday and Friday at conference venue
- Wine tasting event (Friday)
- Gala dinner (Saturday)
- One year subscription to Placenta (if included in registration fee)
*A new investigator is defined as a PhD graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, or new investigator within 3 years of receiving their doctoral or senior degree. Please provide a supporting email or letter from your Head of Department that you are 1) a fellow is within 3 years of receiving their doctoral or senior degree (or equivalent) or 2) a student who is registered in a graduate research degree program.
Accompanying Partners
The fee for accompanying partners: €250 + VAT @ 20% = €300.00
The accompanying partners fee includes:
- Welcome drinks reception
- Dinner on Thursday and Friday at conference venue
- Wine tasting event (Friday)
- Gala dinner (Saturday)
Author Registration Deadline
Accepted oral and poster presenters should register no later than 9 May 2008 to ensure that their material is included in the final programme and the book of abstracts. Non-registered presentations will be withdrawn from the conference after this date.
Payment
Registration fees are payable in advance of the symposium. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the symposium secretariat.
Alternative payment methods
Cheques should be made payable to Elsevier Ltd. and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by (air)mail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the conference secretariat.
Cancellations
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Symposium Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Symposium Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 30 July, 2008, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 13 August, 2008, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 13 August, 2008, or for no-shows at the symposium, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable. In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the symposium, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
Changes
Details are correct at the time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final programme.
