About the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA)

The mission of the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA) is to support and promote excellence in the field of placental research throughout the world. IFPA encourages the continued development of placentology, its funding and its visibility within the international scientific community. It also facilitates scientific exchange in areas of the world where placental research is an emerging field. IFPA meetings provide an outstanding environment for the development of international collaborations between basic and clinical scientists.
